Back in the days of some serious earthworks, well we thought it was anyway.

This is at the C-Dax site where we needed to build a new Engineering workshop.

The building platform needed rising so the obvious thing was to make a lake and use the fill.

In the picture is the Cat D6B, the tractor a Renault 103 and the Komatsu PC100-3.

We struck a good patch of weather and got the project done quickly.

The wee lake leaked a bit so we got a staff members jet boat in the lake which stirred up the silts and sealed it and gave us all a buzz.

One of the Engineers who was army trained like to use the lake for letting off underwater acetylene bombs.
